Lot Demeyer is quickly emerging as one of the West Coast’s leading Baroque oboe players, serving as Lecturer in Baroque Oboe at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, and performing with topnotch organizations like LA Opera, LA Master Chorale, Musica Angelica, Bach Collegium San Diego, Philharmonia Baroque, Bach Society Houston, Bach Society of Minnesota, etc. Lot holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts from USC. She was a First Prize Winner at the Belgian Music Competition Belfius Classics and won music fellowships from the Fulbright Foundation and the Belgian American Educational Foundation, among others. A native of Kortrijk (Belgium), Lot currently resides in Arcadia (CA). Lot remains active as a modern oboe player, is gaining experience as a Baroque recorder player and has a passion for graphic design, drawing and artwork.
